What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is based on the belief that each part of the body is interconnected through the nervous system to the hands and feet. Stimulating specific reflex points in the feet can bring needed nutrients to poorly functioning areas of the body. This can help restore balance throughout the body.
Sometimes called Zone Therapy, Reflexology sees the body as separated into five zones which run down the body and feet. The right foot corresponds to the right hand side of the body and the left foot corresponds to the left hand side of the body. To a reflexologist the feet are a map of the whole body.
In Reflexology we treat the person as a whole, and we take the emotional and spiritual wellbeing of our clients into account as well as the physical. The session should leave you feeling relaxed and revitalised. Many clients will sleep very well following a treatment and an increase in energy is often experienced.
