I saw this very interesting picture on a Facebook page the other day.  How interesting to see how different feet can be and also how it depicts our descent.  I myself appear to be of Roman descent!

Maternity Reflexology

Pregnancy can be a wonderful and easy experience for a lot of women, but some of us also suffer with some stressful pregnancy related conditions, as well just the normal tiredness from carrying your baby around all day.  Trying Reflexology whilst you are pregnant, will give you a wonderfully relaxing time out of your normal daily routine.  My main aim with Maternity Reflexology is to help you maintain a state of relaxation, if this can be achieved throughout your pregnancy and into the birth of your baby, this can only aid natural childbirth.

Partners are not excluded either, imagine that both of you are nice a relaxed during your baby's birth - what a wonderful way to come into the world!

Reflexology for Infertility

6/1/2013

I am now offering Reflexology for those people who are suffering with Infertility problems.  Infertility affects one in six couples, this causes stress and anxiety which are not good for those trying to conceive.

Reflexology encourages the body to work more efficiently thus creating a healthier environment which is essential for a successful pregnancy.  The session will help to rebalance the systems within the body, including very importantly to rebalance the hormones and relax the client.  I recommend reflexology for both women and their partners, as we all know, infertility affects both sexes.

If Infertility is affecting you and your partner, please contact me for a consultation.

The Healing Crisis : What is it?

29/5/2012

Reflexology activates the body's healing power.  So we expect some type of reaction as the body tries to rebalance itself. This reaction is called 'the Healing Crisis'.

Many factors can influence how severe or mild the Healing Crisis is.  Generally people, can experience the following after a Reflexology session: fatigue, tingling, itching and the body's temperature will often go down.  Some people will often urinate or have a bowel movement, this is the body ridding itself of the toxins, which have been released during the session.

People who have a lot of toxins and impurities in their systems will have a more severe 'Healing Crisis', symptoms can include headaches, diarrhoea, coldness, nausea and sinus congestion.  These symptoms are a very good sign that the Reflexology is working.  Healing crises normally pass within 24 hours.  As the body has released a large amount of toxins and impurities, a severe Healing Crisis is unlikely to reoccur at subsequent sessions.  Those who lead very stressful lives are likely to encounter this kind of healing crisis.
